i have been working on getting ready for my show like a mad woman. and anytime i am not working on it i get all stressed. however, i was researching old art favorites and i came across some images of kate pratt's work. love her work. i remember when i first saw her work when i was at otis i was all blown away. my crush remains.

i am not sure how i feel about these. no, i like them. but why is it that they kinda make me a little nervous. it is so silly. for some reason the palm in the office makes me the least freaked out. the orchid on the other hand is the most nerve racking.

i found this image of this adorable dog on the the flog blog and i am in love. i want this dog. my cats need a dog to ride like a little horse around the house.

this is what i am reading.

this book is wonderful. i know i know, i just can't get enough of feminism, but this book is very refreshing, or rather FRESH. it is written in the most direct way. jessica valenti says it like it is. and i love her for it.

p.s. my boyfriend gifted it to me. the man knows his little live in feminist very well.
