i have been super broke but i had a gift certificate (since my bday) for vroman's book store. so i was super excited because i have wanted a book that focus more specifically on succulents and cacti for a LONG time. i picked up this beauty, The Garden Succulents Primer. it is jam packed with images of the weirdo looking succulents and all their awesome latin names i still can't pronounce. i liked this review best: "help[s] to make sense of what sometimes seems an indigestible and ... alien group of plants. -gardens illustrated
