i have started my first horticulture class! the class is focusing on california natives and residential space design. so i am going to redesign (and plant) my backyard for the class project. i have lots of challenges ahead. for one, my fence is collapsing due to a serious termite problem, so i must come up with a temporary solution for privacy (the beauty of renting). and i was told by my teacher that i cannot focus on details and must think in large scale with fresh eyes. wish me luck. this is going to be a lot of work!
