my family, which consists of my boyfriend/roomie, 2 cats/children and a fish that is camera shy are long overdue for a family portrait. so i got busy on photoshop and made us one!
these puppy speakers have got to be one of the coolest things i have ever seen. i want some made to look like my cats. or almost better yet, some squirrels.
this weekend we had an artist reception for my grandfather Jose Luis Quílez at Pergolina. it was a beautiful turnout and a very happy day. my grandfather has been a huge inspiration and the opportunity to show him off is always special.
debbie taylor gave a lecture on california natives at Pergolina. these are some of the gorgeous plants she brought. some from her very own garden! and the rest were treasures from the Theodore Payne foundation. i took home a sage, an iris and some yarrow! along with lots of valuable information! thanks debbie, you are an inspiration!
